  1. I have been eating Taco Bell for almost 50 years and the original Tostada was just Frijoles and lettuce, cheese, and sauce with tomato’s the Beef tostada came out years after. They tried changing the name to pintos and cheese instead of tostadas most people still didn’t know what it was. I remember my first Taco there it is was only 8¢
