Who Am I?
Hello guys! I am Jasbir. I am a professional chef with a zeal for transforming everyday food into culinary classics.
I have been a part of the food industry for more than 7 years. All these years have taught me to keep working towards honing my cooking skills.
I have a degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
It was during college, my name was registered in the Limca Book of Records for successfully making 110 omelets within 10 minutes.
My aim is to refine my culinary artistry while simplifying the art of cooking at the same time.
My professional journey started at JW Marriott where I was engrossed in various departments including Food & Beverage Service, The Front Office, Culinary operations and more.
Then, I moved onto Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where I was honored with the title of Hystar of the Year back in 2019.
My biggest take away from all the adventures I had at my workspace was the importance of customer satisfaction in the food industry.
I have always enjoyed food even as a child. I always admired my mother making all those delicious and healthy dishes for all my family members.
I just hope to be able to share half of the joy she made me feel through the food she cooked.
Becoming an integral part of TheFoodXP team back in 2020 led me to recreating the most complex recipes in the simplest manner.
I wish to make them more accessible has been my primary motivation.
A fine balance between precision and creativity is what brings about excellence.
Apart from this I am an avid believer of living life to the fullest. Hence, I make every possible effort to document my life in the form of mini vlogs.

What Are My Other Interests
I love my kitchen space a little too much to part from it. But in order to lead a wholesome life, I try taking some time off whenever possible.
Sleeping is my second favorite activity after cooking.
Away from the fast paced clinking of kitchen utensils and social media, I love some quiet reading time.
Some of the best books I have read so far include Theory of Cooking by Krishna Arora, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and 40 rules of love by Elif Shafak.
Scenic beauties sure do fall within the list of things I admire. Exploring new places and learning about the cuisines fills my heart with utmost joy.
Juggling one cuisine after another, I have concluded that Italian cuisine is my favorite.
The intricate balance of the flavors makes it intriguing enough to make me circle back to it every now and then.
