Texas Roadhouse Roadkill is an amazing beef steak recipe prepared with ground beef, sauteed mushrooms, onions, and Jack cheese. It takes just 20 minutes to sear the beef steak and put it together with the veggies and the cheese.
In a bowl, add egg, ground beef, Lawry’s seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix it well.
Form two hamburger patties with the ground beef mixture. The patty should be thick and firm.
Let the patty sit in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile, saute onions and mushrooms over medium heat until they are translucent.
Remove the pan when the onions and mushrooms are almost cooked.
Take out the patties and place them on the grilling pan. Grill the patties until browned and cooked through.
Finally, it is time to assemble.
Place one patty in the baking tray, followed by the sauteed onions and mushrooms. Top it up with another beef patty and place two slices of Monterey jack cheese on top.
Place the baking tray in the oven for 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
