DIY Pomegranate Molasses Recipe
If you run out of all options, simply grab a few pounds of pomegranate seeds and make pomegranate molasses on your own.
- 4 cups Pomegranate Juice
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
Pour the extracted juice into a saucepan. Add sugar and lemon juice to it.
Bring it to a gentle boil for over an hour until a thick consistency is obtained.
The last fifteen minutes are very crucial in this recipe. You have to reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer.
Check the taste and if you prefer more sweetness, add sugar. Turn off the flame and store the molasses in a container.
