Sunday Gravy Recipe

This Sunday gravy is rich and luscious. It is worth calling it meat-loaded. The gravy is made with pork ribs, sausages, beef, and meatballs. The meat is cooked in a flavorful tomato sauce for hours so you can enjoy a lovely gravy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Pork Ribs
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 250 ml Wine
  • 2 pound Sausage
  • 6 ounces Tomato Paste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 5 cups Water
  • 1 pound Meatballs
  • 2 (28-ounce) cans Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 White Onion
  • 1 Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Take a large pan and add olive oil. Add pork ribs, ground beef, sausages and meatballs and brown them separately over medium flame.
  • Using a tong, turn them over and keep them aside on platters. Pour red wine.
  • In the same pan, add minced onion, shredded garlic and salt.
  • Add tomato paste and the sauce of crushed tomatoes(puree).
  • Add pepper, sugar and water. Boil the mixture over a low flame.
  • As and when the sauce is boiling, add the browned meat pieces.
  • Stir all the ingredients well every 30 minutes over low flame.
  • Stir occasionally up to three hours over low flame and your Sunday gravy is ready to be served.
