The Outback Steakhouse Kookaburra wings are deep-fried juicy wings with a spicy breading. They are covered in hot sauce and served with blue cheese and celery. These delicious wings are to die for!

48ouncesShortening
2tablespoonsHot Sauce
1teaspoonWater
Instructions
In the fryer, preheat the shortening to a temperature of 375°F.
Now, in a medium bowl, add the flour, cheese topping, salt, and ground black pepper. Also, add cayenne pepper, chili powder, and paprika to it. Lastly, add onion powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, and a dash of ground cloves to it and mix everything.
Coat each wing with this breading and place them on a plate. Keep the plate in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so that the breading sets.
Then, gently place your wings in the fryer and fry them for about 8-10 minutes until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
When they are fried, take them out and place them on a rack to drain off the excess oil from the wings.
Now, take a small bowl and add the hot wings and water to it and mix. Toss the wings in the hot sauce so that they are covered perfectly with it.
Take the wings gently out of the bowl and place them on a serving plate. Serve the Kookaburra wings with blue cheese dip and celery.
