Gordon Ramsay's Hot Chicken Wings Recipe
Gordon Ramsay's hot chicken wings has perfect chicken lollipops spiced up with hot sauce, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. The browning of chicken is done in the searing pan and is baked to have tender and juicy meat. Every bite is hot and spicy, tender yet crispy on the outside.
2 pounds Chicken Wings (lollipopped) 2 tablespoons Canola Oil 3 knobs Unsalted Butter Hot Sauce (of your choice) 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
Pat the chicken skin dry. Add them to a large bowl and season the wings with smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt.
Add canola oil to a saucepan over medium heat and add butter along with seasoned wings to the pan. Let these crisp for few minutes and then add black pepper to the pan and saute.
Now, transfer these wings to a roasting pan or tray. Reserve the juice in the saucepan for further use. Bake the wings for 15 minutes at 165 F.
Add these wings to a large bowl and add the leftover juice from the saucepan and few spoons of hot sauce. Mix them until combine. Add butter to add more flavor and to make it look glossy.
Place these over a platter and serve.
