Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Long Grain White Rice
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Tomato (chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Peanut Oil
  • 1 ¼ cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions
 

  • Take a large and heavy saucepan and heat oil in it.
  • Add the rice, garlic and onions and sauté them for about 2 minutes until they are translucent.
  • Now, add the chicken broth, tomato paste and salt in it and mix them well.
  • Let the mixture boil and reduce the heat to low once it boils. Wait until the rice is cooked. It will take about 30 minutes.
  • Now, remove the pan from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, garnish with some coriander and serve immediately.
