Air fryer chicken tenders are a yummy, crispy, and healthy food to eat at brunch, lunch, and dinner. Marinate the chicken tenders, coat the chicken tenders with the breading, and put them into the air-fryer. Fry the chicken tenders perfectly until golden-brown. Serve the tenders with your choice of sauces, zucchini tomatoes, or lemon wedges.
2 Garlic Cloves (pressed and use grater for pressing garlic)
1cup Plain Bread Crumbs
1cup Panko Bread Crumbs
½cup Parmesan (grated)
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
For Air Fryer
Prepare Marinade Without Egg:
Mix ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard and 2 garlic cloves (pressed) in a large bowl.
Add 2 pound of chicken tenders inside the mixture.
Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
Prepare Breading Mixture:
In order to make breading, mix 1 cup plain bread crumbs, 1 cup panko bread crumbs, ½ cup grated Parmesan, salt and pepper to taste in another bowl.
Then coat the chicken tenders in the breaded mixture.
Place the breaded chicken on the air fry bottom tray.
Spray the bottom of tray and breaded chicken with olive oil.
Arrange chicken strips in a single layer on your bottom tray.
Set air fryer to 300°F.
Heat strip for 12-14 minutes.
And let stand 1-2 minutes before serving.
You can also use homemade breadcrumbs made with whole-wheat bread. The air frying time will vary, it all depends upon your Air fryer and the size of your tenders.Spray oil on the tenders when you flip so that the tenders are nice and crispy.You can add different spices, depending on your preference.If you don't want to prepare marinate without egg. You can use other ingredients for marination like egg, tomato paste, flour and water, and also milk.You can increase or decrease the marination timing, according to your choice.
