Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Onion (chopped)
  • ¼ cup Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Canola Oil
  • 1 cup Long Grain Rice (uncooked)
  • ½ cup Tomatoes with Green Chiles (chopped)
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro (chopped)

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, sauté onions and green peppers in oil for 2 minutes. Once done, add rice to it and stir.
  • Add tomatoes, cumin, salt, turmeric, salt, garlic powder, and water to the skillet. Bring them all to boil. After that, reduce the heat to a minimum.
  • Cover and cook the rice for 20 minutes until the water gets absorbed.
  • Garnish it with chopped cilantro. Serve hot.
