Blackberry Compote Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Fresh Blackberries
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • ¼ cup White sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and drain the blackberries, picking out any debris or stalks. Take a saucepan and add all the ingredients.
  • Boil blackberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt in a saucepan over a high flame for 5 minutes, stirring often to stop it from scorching.
  • Reduce the flame and simmer until the sauce gets thick and bubble for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Keep it aside for a few minutes and serve warm.
