½ pound Ground Beef 2 tablespoons Bacon Grease 1 cup Veal Stock 1 tablespoon Butter ½ cup Celery (chopped) ½ cup Onions (chopped) 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced) ½ cup Red Bell Peppers ½ cup Flour 1 teaspoon Oregano 1 teaspoon Thyme 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper 1 teaspoon White Pepper 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
In a skillet, add diced onions, celery, and red bell peppers. Sason it with salt and saute them for 2-3 minutes.
Remove the sauteed veggies from the skillet.
In the same pan, add butter, flour, and bacon grease.
Let it melt and cook until you see a peanutty brown texture.
Put the sauteed veggies once you see the brown glaze texture. Give them a nice stir and cook 2-3 minutes.
Incorporate the Cajun spices to the pan.
