Pepper steak is made with flank steak, bell peppers, and a delicious sauce. This is a great way to make a juicy and flavorful steak. The pepper steak goes great with rice.

1 lb Flank Steak (thinly sliced against the grain) 1 Red Bell Pepper (thinly sliced) 1 Green Bell Pepper (thinly sliced) 1 tablespoon Ginger (freshly minced) 1 tablespoon Cornstarch 4 tablespoons Packed Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil (divided) ¼ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar Kosher Salt and Black Pepper (for taste) Cooked Rice (for serving)
Take a medium bowl and mix soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and cornstarch in it. Leave it undisturbed.
Take a large skillet and heat 1 tablespoon ofoil in it over high heat.
Put the flank steak into it. Sprinkle salt over it.
Let it cook thoroughly so that it gets seared on all sides. Ideally, 8 to 10 minutes would be enough.
Now, take out the steak and place it on a plate.
Now, put the remaining oil in the skillet. Then, add red and green bell peppers into the skillet.
Let them cook until they soften for about 4-5 minutes.
Now, add garlic and ginger. Cook until it is fragrant, stirring occasionally.
Put the beef back to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over it.
Cook it until the sauce is glossy for about 2 minutes while stirring it as well. Serve it with rice.
