To make this Mexican dish at your place, you can use either corn tortillas or flour tortillas. It is a cheesy and creamy dish. This is the reason these are called Swiss enchiladas because of the use of dairy in it. Basic enchiladas are made with a tomato-based sauce. In Mexico, people also call this dish Enchiladas Suizas.
Take a bowl and mix chicken, chilies, and salsa in it.
In a shallow dish, stir whipped cream and salt together.
Take a heavy large skillet. Heat it on a medium-high flame and fry each tortilla in it. Cook them until they blister. Once done, immediately dip into the cream mixture.
Fill the tortilla with chicken mixture. Roll and bake it with the flap side down. Pour the remaining cream over the tortilla and sprinkle with cheese.
Put the enchiladas in the oven. Bake until the cheese melts. This will take 15-20 minutes.
