Green peppercorn sauce

Green Peppercorn Sauce Recipe

Green peppercorn sauce is one of the best steak sauces in this world! It's super simple because it's made using the steak drippings and either brandy or cognac. The alcoholic taste is cooked out and you're left with an amazing sweet, savory, and creamy sauce with great depth of flavor and beautiful pops of heat from the peppercorns.

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Cognac Brandy
  • 1 tablespoon Homemade Beef Broth
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Shallots
  • 2 tablespoon Green Peppercorn
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Salt

Instructions
