1 cup Butter 2 Eggs 1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 cup Vegetable Oil 4 ½ cups Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 cup Confectioners' Sugar
Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.
In a large bowl, mix butter, oil, and sugar until well combined.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and tartar cream using a stand mixer.
Add this mixture to the butter mixture. Also, add eggs and vanilla to it. Mix all together until it has a creamy texture.
Take spoonful of this mixture and put them on a baking sheet. Bake them for about 8 to 10 minutes until the cookies turn light brown.
Take them out and let them cool for a while. The Amish sugar cookies are ready!
