Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Saucepan
  • Silicone Spatula
  • Offset Spatula
  • Parchment Paper
  • Large Tray
  • Plastic Bag
  • Rolling Pin

Ingredients

  • 13 ounces White Chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 10 no. Candy Cane

Instructions

  • Line two baking trays with parchment paper and keep aside.
  • Add the candy cane to a plastic bag and wrap it up; break the candy cane with a rolling pin until it forms little pieces.
  • In a large, heat-proof bowl, add the white chocolate and place it over a saucepan with hot water, also called a double boiler.
  • Let the chocolate melt completely, then take the bowl off the heat and add in the vegetable oil. Stir it all with a silicone spatula.
  • Divide the melted chocolate onto two trays and spread it out with an offset spatula so that the top gets smooth.
  • Add the crushed candy cane pieces on top and refrigerate the trays for 30-40 minutes.
  • Take the trays out once the chocolate is set and then break the pieces apart. Store for later or enjoy immediately!
