Ingredients
  

  • cup Self-Raising Flour
  • 4 cups Peaches
  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • Cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Peel peaches and slice them. Add them to the large pot filled with water and sugar. Bring to a boil for ten minutes.
  • Discard peach slices from the water and keep them aside.
  • Melt butter placed in the baking dish in the oven. Once melted, keep it aside.
  • In a separate bowl, combine sugar and flour. Then add milk to it. Don’t put the whole milk. Mix gradually to avoid any lumps.
  • Pour this flour and milk mixture over melted butter. Do not mix. Just pour on the top to create layers.
  • Place peach slices on the top.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and put the baking dish into the oven.
  • Bake for thirty to forty minutes.
  • Paula Deen peach cobbler is ready.
