- 1½ cup Self-Raising Flour
- 4 cups Peaches
- 1 stick Butter
- ½ cup Water
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon (for topping)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Peel peaches and slice them. Add them to the large pot filled with water and sugar. Bring to a boil for ten minutes.
Discard peach slices from the water and keep them aside.
Melt butter placed in the baking dish in the oven. Once melted, keep it aside.
In a separate bowl, combine sugar and flour. Then add milk to it. Don’t put the whole milk. Mix gradually to avoid any lumps.
Pour this flour and milk mixture over melted butter. Do not mix. Just pour on the top to create layers.
Place peach slices on the top.
Sprinkle cinnamon and put the baking dish into the oven.
