4cupsAll Purpose Flour (plus some more for dusting)
4Eggs
1 1/2teaspoonActive Dry Yeast
1/2cupUnsalted Butter
3/4cupMilk
1/2cupGranulated Sugar
1teaspoonSalt
Instructions
Making The Dough :
In a large bowl, add in the yeast along with 1 tablespoon of sugar and milk. Mix it with a whisk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
In a stand mixer bowl, mix together the flour, salt, rest of the sugar, yeast mixture and eggs.
Start by mixing all the ingredients at a low speed. Once the dough starts taking a smooth shape, you can increase the speed.
As the dough starts forming a shape, add in bits of soft unsalted butter, one at a time. It should take 10 minutes to incorporate all the butter into the dough.
After 10 minutes, the dough will stop sticking to the sides, which means it is ready. The dough should also be elastic in nature by then.
Resting The Dough :
Once the dough is ready, transfer it to a large bowl greased with olive oil.
Let the dough rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
Shaping The Dough :
Once the dough is properly rested and doubled in size, you can start portioning it out.
Cut out twelve portions of the dough and form round up each portion.
Place the rounded dough balls into a greased baking dish and let them rest for another hour in a warm place.
Baking The Brioche Rolls :
Once the dough is rested for an hour, you can bake it.
To bake the brioche rolls, place the tray in an oven preheated at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
Bake the brioche rolls at the same temperature for 25 minutes.
Once ready, serve immediately or store for later use.
