- 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1.5 kg Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Black Pepper
To a large bowl, add sifted, all-purpose flour.
Add baking powder and baking soda to the flour mixture, along with the salt.
Pour in the buttermilk and mix it up.
Add chunks of cold butter to all of this.
Mix it up, and your dough is ready.
Roll out the dough, cut squares, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment.
Brush the tops with heavy cream and sprinkle some black pepper powder.
Bake the biscuits at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, then brush the tops with melted butter. Your buttermilk biscuits are ready!
