  1. Heat oven to 325°F.
  2. Beat 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla in a small bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually beat in flour until well blended; press onto bottom of the 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Prick with a fork. Bake 25 min. or until edge is lightly browned.
  5. Beat cream cheese, remaining sugar and vanilla in a large bowl with mixer until well blended.
  6. Add chocolate; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low speed after each addition just until blended.
  7. Pour over crust.
  8. Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until centre is almost set.
  9. Run a knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim.
  10. Refrigerate 4 hours.
  11. Top with Fresh Raspberries or Strawberries just before serving.
