I learned how to make Strata from my uncle, who stays in Florida when he came back to India. He invited us for a brunch party at his home. He made Strata at his party and I liked it very much.

After the party finished, I went to him and I asked him about Strata and he said it is a very famous dish in America and he provided me Strata Recipe with proper instructions and details.

Half-and-Half1/2 Cup
Ground Nutmeg1 Pinch
Cayenne Pepper1 Pinch
Kosher Salt1 tsp
Ground Pepper1/2 tsp
Spinach Leaf3
Canadian Bacon1 Cup
Bagels8 ounce
Shredded Mild Cheese3/4 Cup

  1. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F and in the centre of the rack of the oven, apply butter.
  2. In a large bowl add eggs, milk, half-and-half, cayenne, pepper, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk them properly.
  3. Into the egg mixture fold shredded cheese, bread, greens, and meat. Place them into the baking dish and pour the remaining cheese over them.
  4. Leave the folds for 15 minutes, to set.
  5. Cover the folds with foil and bake for 35 minutes, bake until it will turn golden brown.
  6. After the baking process cools it for 15 minutes.

Your Strata is ready to serve. Make is at your home and I bet that it’ll make your brunch more delicious and divine.
