Prime rib is one of the most tender cuts. The rib is rubbed with galic, olive oil, seasoning, and herbs. It is then marinated for about 2 hours. The marinated beef is roasted in the oven for about 40 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 7 pounds Beef Prime Rib
  • 6 cloves Garlic (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 3 ½ teaspoons Sea Salt
  • ½ tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary Leaves (minced)
  • ½ teaspoon Thyme Leaves (minced)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven at 500ËšF.
  • In a small bowl, add black pepper, salt, rosemary, thyme leaves, olive oil, and garlic.
  • Pat the roast dry with a paper towel from top to bottom. Season the rib with the garlic mixture.
  • Let the prime rib rest for at least 2 hours.
  • Places the rib on the roasting pan with the bone side up. Bake it at 450ËšF for 30 minutes.
  • Then, lower the temperature to 320ËšF and bake it for 10-12 minutes more. Take it out when the internal temperature of the rib reads 120ËšF.
  • When it is done roasting, let it rest for 30 minutes. Then, transfer it to a cutting board.
  • Carve the rib into slices and serve.
