  1. Boil the daal with 1 tsp turmeric powder added to it.
  2. In a preheated pan add 2 tsp oil and heat it.
  3. Add mashed potatoes to it.
  4. Add chopped onions and garlic to it.
  5. Roast it and put it on a plate.
  6. Now add chopped green chillies, bread crumb, salt, and black pepper powder to it.
  7. Mix all.
  8. Add boiled daal about ¾ cups.
  9. Mix it all to the dough.
  10. Make small round tikkis out of it.
  11. Shallow fry them in the preheated oil pan.
  12. Put them on tomato slices.
  13. Sprinkle black pepper powder on it.
  14. Serve hot.
