There are many people who don’t like Mushroom and I am one of those people. I was one of those people who dislike eating mushroom if the mushroom was the last choice given to me I had them but a little.

As I dislike Mushrooms, I never had a dish in which mushrooms are added. In my perspective, my dad is the best cook in the world and he makes the best chicken also. One day, he made roasted chicken and with chicken, he made Mushroom Sauce because at they we have guests in our home.

I ate chicken without having that Mushroom Sauce but after I saw everyone appreciating it, I thought to take one dip just to taste but I found it so tasty that I finished it and my father has to make it more for guests.

Ingredients For Mushroom Sauce

Unsalted Butter2 tbsp
Olive Oil1/2 tbsp
Sliced Mushrooms10 oz
Salt and Pepper1 Pinch
Garlic Cloves2
White Wine1/4 Cup
Chicken Broth1/2 Cup
Cream1 Cup
Parmesan1/2 Cup
Thyme Leaves 2 tsp

  1. In a skillet heat oil and melt butter over the low heat.
  2. Place mushrooms and onions, cook them until it will turn golden for about 5 minutes.
  3. When the mushrooms and onions are cooking and time 3 minutes add garlic, salt, and pepper, remove from heat when they turn golden.
  4. In the skillet add wine a little and stir the mixture for 1 minute.
  5. After 1 minute add broth, cream, and parmesan to the mixture and heat it until it will simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Transfer the sauce in a serving bowl and serve it.

Finally, the Mushroom Sauce is ready and you can have it with roast beef, chicken or pork, baked potatoes, toss with pasta.
