How To Make Keto Deviled Eggs At Home

Boil the eggs for 10–12 minutes, then cool and peel them. Slice the eggs in half and remove the yolks into a bowl.

Expert Tips That I Recommend

  • The first tip I have is to use fresh eggs. Old eggs will overcook quickly, be difficult to peel, and taste odd. Hence, always take the extra route of buying fresh eggs for this recipe.
  • The trick is to steam the eggs and not boil them. Let it cook at medium heat for about 10 minutes, and you will have fluffy eggs in no time.
  • I am using a spatula to mix the egg yolks, but you can also use a hand mixer to mix them properly.
  • To take your Keto Devilled Eggs to the next level, you can also use a piping bag. This will not affect the taste, but it will definitely make a big difference to the eggs’ visuals.
  • With Keto Deviled Eggs, you need to be cautious with the stuffing. It’s best to stuff it just right, without overdoing it or understuffing.
  • If your Keto Deviled Eggs feel a little dry, you can add lime juice, pickle juice, or olive oil.
  • There was a time when my Keto Deviled Eggs turned out to be very rubbery. The culprit was overmixing and using too much fat. So be cautious of overdoing things, as too much is not good in this case.
  • I believe Keto Deviled Eggs taste best when chilled in the fridge. Hence, I let them cool in the refrigerator for at least half an hour, which allows the flavours to meld properly.
  • Finally, there is nothing wrong with going overboard with this recipe. You can add capers, dill pickles, all-bagel seasoning, and so much more to make the flavor suit your palate.
