One day, I was sitting with my mom and I said I am craving for jalebi. She said let’s get inside the kitchen and made it. We went to the kitchen and made a jalebi. Jalebi itself has a unique taste and texture which will attract you just by the looks.

We made jalebi together and my mother shared a memory from her childhood. she said when she was a child, her mother used to make jalebi and Kesar Rabdi and we use to eat jalebi by dipping into Kesar Rabdi and it tastes marvellous.

When she was explaining all this to me, I was watching a spark in her eyes and suddenly I said my mother let’s recall your memories, and let’s make Kesar Rabdi too. We made Kesar Rabdi and have it with jalebi and what I get is a divine texture of taste like all the flavors burst on my tongue.

Ingredients for Shahi Kesar Rabdi Recipe

Milk2.5 cups
Condensed milk2 tsp
Corn flour1 tsp
Sugar1 tsp
Mashed cheese2 tsp
Saffron water¼ tsp

Shahi Kesar Rabdi Recipe

  1. In a preheated pan add 1.5 cups of milk and 2 tsp of condensed milk.
  2. Boil it for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.
  3. Now in a bowl take 1 cup of milk to add one tsp of cornflour.
  4. Mix it thoroughly and make a paste.
  5. Add this paste to the heated milk and keep stirring.
  6. Add 1 tsp of sugar and mix it.
  7. Keep stirring while on a medium flame.
  8. Now add 2 tsp of mashed cheese and ¼ tsp of saffron water.
  9. Stir it thoroughly.
  10. Let it cool.

Note: You can add dry fruits in it to make it a dessert itself or pour it on Indian sweets like Malpua, Shahi Tukda, Jalebi, and Rasmalai.
