Ingredients for Maharashtrian Misal Pav:
|Mustard seeds||1 tsp|
|Leaf cody (kadi patta)||6-8 leaves|
|Chopped green chilies||2 units|
|Chopped ginger||1 tsp|
|Turmeric powder||½ tsp|
|Red chili powder||½ tsp|
|Cumin powder||½ tsp|
|Garam masala||½ tsp|
|Coriander powder||½ tsp|
|Hing powder||½ tsp|
How to Make Maharashtrian Misal Pav | Recipe:
- In a pre heated pan add I tbsp oil and heat it. Add 1 tsp mustard seeds to it; wait for it until it pops. Now add leaf cody, green chilies, ginger and onion. Roast it.
- Add 1 cup sprouts, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp coriander powder. Mix it all. Now add ½ tsp hing powder, 2 tsp salt and 2 cups water. Cook it on a high flame. After water dries off serve it in a bowl.
- Take a preheated pan, take a pav, cut it in two halves and fry it using butter.
- Serve hot
