Gyoza is dumplings consisting of ground meat and vegetables which are wrapped in a thin dough. They are also known as potstickers. Although these dumplings trace their origins from China where they are referred to as jiaozi, they have found much popularity in Japan. Yaki Gyoza (pan-fried), Sui Gyoza (boiled) and Age Gyoza(deep-fried) are some of the types of Gyoza dish. Also, they are usually eaten with a dipping sauce.

  1. Take a large bowl.
  2. Combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, garlic, ginger, green onions and sesame oil together.
  3. Leave them undisturbed for about 15 minutes.
  4. Serve it. (it can be stored up to 1 week in a refrigerator).
