If you have cooked turkey, you might know that the turkey doesn’t have a lot of flavors and it dries up once cooked. Gordon Ramsay brings a solution to this problem. The turkey breast recipe by Gordon Ramsay includes roasting the turkey in compound butter. It is then served with a thick gravy. This adds moisture and flavor to the turkey.

The compound butter in this recipe is a mixture of butter and herbs. It is rubbed over the turkey as a way of prepping it for roasting. The herby flavors go great with the turkey and the butter provides a crisp to the exterior of it. Also, I love how Gordon Ramsay incorporates the meat juices in the recipe.

To make Gordon Ramsay’s turkey breast, make the compound butter with butter, herbs, garlic, lemon zest, and salt. Rub this compound butter on the turkey and roast in the oven for an hour. Make the gravy from the pan drippings, flour, stock, and salt. Serve the turkey with the gravy.
