  2. Freezer – Freezing can also be a good option, but only when you transfer the dish to a freezer-safe bag or airtight container. This way it’ll preserve the dish from going bad and keep it safe from absorbing odors from other dishes in the freezer.

Reheating This Chili Con Carne

There are three easy ways to reheat this delicious Gordon Ramsay Chili Con Carne, take a look at them below:

  1. In Microwave – Microwave is an easy way to reheat this chili con carne. All you have to do is place the chili in a microwave-safe container. Also, don’t forget to cover the dish with a lid or microwave-safe plastic wrap and leave a small vent for steam to escape.

However, make sure to add a little bit of water to thin out the chili as the consistency gets thicker when refrigerated or frozen. Also, stir it frequently to ensure that it is reheating properly.

  1. In The Oven – The very first thing you have to do is preheat the oven to 350°F. Again don’t forget to add a tablespoon of stock or water in the carne. While reheating ensure the dish is covered properly with an aluminum foil and the dish should be tightly sealed from the edges.

Moreover, for smaller quantities reheat up to 15 minutes, and for larger portions reheat it for up to 45 minutes. Also, frozen chili con carne needs to be overnight in the refrigerator.
