- 6 Chicken Thighs – You will need five to six pieces of chicken thighs. Bone-in chicken thighs will provide you with juicer results.
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce – I recommend using regular or low-sodium soy sauce to make this dish.
- 1 Tablespoon Shaoxing Wine – If you don’t find it, you can also use dry sherry, mirin, or Sake.
- 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar – Rice vinegar adds a sour and musty flavor to the marination, but you can also use regular vinegar in its place.
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil – You can use vegetable oil if you don’t have sesame oil.
- 2 Tablespoon Orange Zest – If you don’t find orange, you can use any variety of lemon.
- 1 Sprig Spring Onions – You will need spring onions to make the sauce and garnish the chicken thighs. However, shallots will also work in their place.
- 4 Cloves Garlic – Garlic will add a spicy and sweet buttery flavor to the dish. Use garlic powder if you don’t have fresh garlic cloves.
- 1 Tablespoon Ginger – Ginger has a warm, spicy, and peppery taste. It also adds excellent nutritional value to the dish.
- 1 Tablespoon Red Peppers – Chopped peppers will make the dish look colorful and add some spiciness.
- 1 Teaspoon Sichuan Peppercorn – If you don’t have any, use half the quantity of black peppercorns in its place.

How To Make Gordon Ramsay Chicken Thigh Recipe At Home
Step 1
Take a bowl and add six pieces of chicken thighs to it. Now pour one tablespoon each of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and Shaoxing wine over the thighs. Mix everything well until combined.

Now, freshly grate orange zest over the thigh mixture. Let the chicken thighs marinate for at least two hours.
