Expert Tips That I Recommend

  • To enjoy the best flavors in my dessert, I make sure to use fresh, high-quality ingredients in my recipes.
  • Before making the dessert, I ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature. That’s because cold cream cheese can lead to a lumpy mixture, and over-mixing can cause the fat to separate, resulting in an undesirable texture.
  • Some of my family members enjoy a richer cheesecake, so I increase the cream cheese to Greek yogurt ratio for them.
  • Lastly, I also sprinkle some toasted salty nuts to get that crunchy texture and enhance the flavors of my cheesecake. The salt in the nuts also helps cut down the sweetness and beautifully balance the taste of my cheesecake.

Recipe Variations For Different Diet

  • Vegan Diet: People following a vegan diet can use dairy-free cream cheese and yogurt alternatives and replace honey with vegan-friendly sweeteners like maple syrup or agave.
  • Sugar-Free Diet: I replace coconut sugar and honey with low-carb, sugar-free alternatives like stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit sweeteners.
  • Keto-friendly Diet: I replace coconut sugar and honey with keto-friendly sweeteners like erythritol for a keto-friendly version. I also use full-fat cream cheese and Greek yogurt and limit or swap the blueberries with lower-carb berries.

Storing This Recipe

  • Refrigerator: I store the leftovers of this dessert in the same jars by sealing them with their lids or sometimes a cling or a plastic wrap. This way, the cheesecake can last for about 5 to 7 days in the refrigerator. I then take it out of the fridge 15 to 20 minutes before serving so it softens a little.
  • Freezer: To preserve my dessert for a longer time, I prefer freezing the jars with an airtight lid or wrapping them along with the label. This way, they stay fresh for up to 2 months. Before serving them again, I thaw them in the fridge overnight.

What To Serve With This Recipe

I enjoy these gorgeous jar cheesecakes, sweet champagne on the side, fresh fruits, Chocolate Fudge, Iced Coffee or a simple Raspberry Compote.

You can also serve them along with Grape Salad, Potato Salad or Custard Drink that perfectly complement the cheesecakes’ flavors.
