Ingredients For Fried Crab Legs

Apple Cider Vinegar2 Cups
Coriander1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds1 tbsp
Dried Chiles3
Black Peppercorns1 tbsp

For Sauce

Orange Juice1 1/2 Cup
Soy Sauce1/4 Cup
Teriyaki Sauce1/4 Cup
Rice Vinegar1 tbsp
Tomato Pasta1 tbsp
Chile Pepper1
Fresh Ginger Root1 tbsp
Honey1/4 Cup

For Tempura Mix

All-Purpose Flour1 1/2 Cup
Cornstarch3/4 Cup
Baking Powder4 1/2 tsp
Cold Seltzer12 ounces
Salt1 Pinch
Ground Black Pepper1 Pinch
Canola Oil1 ltr

Fried Crab Legs Recipe

  1. In a saucepan, add water to boil with vinegar, mustard seed, coriander, salt, chiles, and peppercorns.
  2. Add crabs legs into the mixture and cook until they turn pinkish for 20 minutes. Remove the crab and leave for cooling aside.
  3. To make sauce, combine ginger root, chile, rice vinegar, orange juice, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and tomato paste in saucepan with honey over medium heat.
  4. Break the shell and remove the crab meat.
  5. In a bowl, add mix flour, cornstarch, and baking powder to make tempura. In the mixture, dredge the crab in the batter and season it with salt and pepper.
  6. At 375 degrees F, heat the canola oil and fry the dredged crab pieces until it will turn golden brown.
  7. Serve with sauce.
