  1. Take a large stockpot.
  2. After washing and peeling potatoes properly, cut it into 1-inch cubes and put them into the pot.
  3. Pour cold water into over potatoes in the pot.
  4. Let the potatoes boil. Cook them for about 15-20 minutes. Ensure they get smooth.
  5. Take the potatoes out of the stockpot. After draining them, put them in a mixing bowl.
  6. Now, put butter, cream cheese, milk on them. Sprinkle salt, garlic powder and pepper over them.
  7. Slightly, crush or mash the large potatoes.
  8. Now, take a mixer and blend the potatoes over medium-high.
  9. Stop the mixer when the potatoes are tender and fluffy.
  10. If desired, you can garnish them with chives and serve hot.
