Steps To Make Country Fried Ham

  1. Take a heavy-bottomed skillet. Melt half of the coconut oil in it over a high flame. If you do not have cocunut oil at home, you can also use butter spray to grease the skillet.
  2. Add ham slices to the skillet and reduce the flame to medium. Ham will release some liquid making it look soft and floppy like bacon. Cook on medium flame until it gets golden. Flip it occasionally. Cook them till they turn crispy and the fat gets rendered. This may take 10 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.

If you observe the skillet to be dry, then you can add the remaining coconut oil. Other than this, you need to keep an extensive track of the flame as there is a possibility of overcooking the ham leaving it chewy and dry.
