What Ingredients Will You Need To Make Chocolate Granola?

  • Oats – To make chocolate granola, you will need four cups of rolled oats. Rolled oats are old-fashioned or whole oats. They have a flat, irregularly round, and textured appearance.
  • Nuts – Nuts make the granola healthy and add a crunch to it. You will need one cup of finely chopped almonds and walnuts.
  • Coconut Flakes  – Coconut flakes add a nice coconut flavor to the granola. You will need half a cup of coconut flakes. If you are not a fan of coconut flavor, you can omit this ingredient.
  • Salt  – Salt helps to bring out the flavor. You will need half a teaspoon of salt.
  • Coconut Sugar – Coconut sugar adds the desirable sweetness to chocolate granola but doesn’t have a coconut flavor. You will need half a cup of coconut sugar.
  • Cocoa Powder – Cocoa powder is used to add chocolate flavor to granola. Here you will need half a cup of cocoa powder.
  • Maple Syrup – Maple syrup has caramel and vanilla-like flavor. You will need half a cup of maple syrup to infuse these flavors in the chocolate granola. The sticky nature of this syrup will also help to bind the granola.
  • Coconut Oil – To make the granola toasty, you need some fat. That’s why you will need half a cup of coconut oil.
  • Vanilla Extract – Vanilla extract is a flavor enhancer. You will need one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Chocolate Chips – Chocolate granola can’t be complete without chocolate pieces. Therefore, you will need one cup of chocolate chips or a chopped chocolate bar.
  • Sea Salt – Sea salt is an optional ingredient. You can sprinkle some on top if you like.
