My favorite fast-food chain is Domino’s.
My favorite thing to cook is Pasta.
I started a bakery in 2014.

Who Am I?
Hey, I am Avni Kapoor. My passion for food and writing comprise a great part of my professional journey.
I have traveled to over 25 countries with the aim of expanding my food horizons.
I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best chefs in the industry. I consider it to be my privilege that I was given the opportunity to work under them.
I have been awarded an Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts and a Diploma in Patisserie from IICA, New Delhi.
After this, I pursued my love for writing with a Diploma in Creative Writing in English from Symbiosis University, Pune, India.
Further, I completed a one-year Diploma in Patisserie from IICA, New Delhi.
To get a better understanding of the food industry, I conducted a project study titled “Overview of Emerging Hospitality Industry Trends” with a focus On The Trident, Gurgaon.
I gained insightful practical, interactive hospitality and culinary orientation from Executive Chef Ramit Wason & his team at Crowne Plaza, Okhla, New Delhi & Executive Chef Sandeep Kalra & his team at Trident, Gurgaon.
Eventually, I started working for a women-centric blog that goes by the name of Indian Women Blog.
My key responsibility areas covered the curation of content that could uplift and empower women.
After rigorous training, I started my own bakery and thereafter decided to share my love for food with others through writing.
Then I stumbled upon the food blog of TheFoodXP and instantly realized this was the place for me to be.
With the opportunities I encountered here, it has been exceptionally elementary to hone my skills to get ahead in my professional journey.

What Are My Tasks At TheFoodXP
Since I am a part of the recipes category at TheFoodXP, my key responsibilities require-
- Overseeing and implementing the editorial calendar for recipes.
- Affirming clear communication with our chef Jasbir.
- Find the best recipe articles for referential purposes for further recreation.
- Ensuring all content is well researched and referred with respect to authoritative sources.
- Ensuring a complementary relationship between our original visual and textual content of the recipes.
- Collaborating with other writers to ensure that our content aligns with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Commissioning, editing and publishing recipes related relevant and engaging content catering to the target audience.
- Taking care of the factual and grammatical flow of the recipe content.
- Keeping up with the industry’s quality standards.
- Continuously monitoring and analyzing the performance of content for better understanding and results.
What Are My Other Interests

I enrolled in a culinary school and learned about different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety measures.
After a great amount of hard work while working at five-star hotels, I decided to run my own home-based bakery.
It was an immense joy to make my childhood dream come true.
Apart from food and writing, I find peace while traveling. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to many countries.
