- 1 cup Long Grain White Rice
- 1 medium Onion (chopped)
- 2 Tomato (chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 can Tomato Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Peanut Oil
- 1 ¼ cups Chicken Broth
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Take a large and heavy saucepan and heat oil in it.
- Add the rice, garlic and onions and sauté them for about 2 minutes until they are translucent.
- Now, add the chicken broth, tomato paste and salt in it and mix them well.
- Let the mixture boil and reduce the heat to low once it boils. Wait until the rice is cooked. It will take about 30 minutes.
- Now, remove the pan from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, garnish with some coriander and serve immediately.
