Not only me but everyone who eats this chutney becomes fond of it. All love to have a teaspoon full of it with atleast one meal in a day from my kid to my mother.

Apple chutney is an easy recipe. All you have to do is add all the ingredients in a saucepan, boil them, and get the mixture’s desired consistency. Once done, cool it down and refrigerate the chutney till further use. Following these simple steps will prepare mouth-watering chutney.

  • 2 Large Tart Cooked Apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Orange Peel
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Fresh Ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

  1. Take a medium saucepan. Add all the ingredients in the saucepan and stir them.
  2. Bring them to boil over a high flame. After a boil, reduce the flame to lowest and cover the pan for 40 minutes.
  3. Uncover the pan after 40 minutes and cook till the liquid evaporates. Remove it from heat.
  4. Let it cool and refrigerate till further use.

Note- You can store the chutney upto 2 weeks.

This recipe is simple and easy to be made. You can serve this with turkey, chicken or ham. Not only this but vegetarian dishes will also taste great with this chutney like cottage fries or roasted vegetables.
