Another day, another development in the Metaverse. With every brand bringing in their horse to participate in the Metaverse race, the competition is cut-throat. New applications are being filed for patents and trademarks in the Metaverse almost every day.

Almond Breeze

With virtual food already being a thing, it’s only evident for beverages to hop in on this race. Brands like McDonald’s, Chipotle, etc. coming up in the Metaverse and serving delicious food, the need for drinks to accompany them is being felt highly.

Grabbing this opportunity, Almond Breeze has now expressed its desire to become “the official drink of the Metaverse.” With the “Ape” NFTs already purchased by several businesses and people, Almond Breeze wants to build up and take advantage of its success.

Almond Breeze’s motive and goal are to quench the thirst of these “Apes.” The brand is reported to be launching a new drink called “ApeFuel” in the Metaverse.

The company is in the hopes of “ApeFuel” becoming the “official drink of the Metaverse.” Almond Breeze is planning to launch a total of 1k NFTs. These NFTs will feature an artistic ape hand holding an ‘Almond Breeze beverage made with real bananas’ carton.

This beverage range is reported to have included three randomly picked NFTs, which will further accompany the offer of a free one-year supply of Almond Breeze Blended with Real Bananas. Talk about good marketing, eh?

Almond Breeze is being immensely kindhearted, or it can just be for promotion. (It’s definitely the latter!) Almond Breeze is donating five percent of each resale of its NFT to the “Future Farmers of America.” Full of good deeds, aren’t we Almond Breeze?

The artwork of these NFTs was created by TBWA/Chiat/Day LA. It was inspired by “the popular styles and techniques of ape NFTs,” as reported by Almond Breeze.

Almond Breeze is aiming at making its drink the official drink of the Metaverse. They plan on doing this by placing it in the hands of the apes and making it appear as the apes’ drink of choice.

The group marketing manager at Blue Diamond Growers for Almond Breeze, Micah Keith, said “Almond Breeze Blended with Real Bananas is the most beloved product among our online community, and we look forward to making it available as art in the Metaverse. These digital apes need fuel, and we’re here to quench their thirst.”

Since the Metaverse is vast and doesn’t have a singular entity, it cannot enter into an official dealership or partnership with any brand. That is why it cannot name any product as the official product of the Metaverse.

Hence, Almond Breeze doesn’t stand much of a chance to become the official drink of the Metaverse. The marketing and sales strategy of this brand is applaudable, and this is the kind of creativity we expect from brands as we move further deep into the Metaverse!
