Air fryer chicken tenders are yummy, crispy and healthy food to eat at brunch, lunch and also dinner time. It can be served with zucchini tomato orzo and lemon wedges for squeezing.

Equipment

  • Two shallow bowls
  • Grater
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

For Chicken Marination:

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise.
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (pressed and use grater for pressing garlic)
  • 2 pounds Chicken

For Breading:

  • 1 cup Plain Bread Crumbs
  • 1 cup  Panko Bread Crumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan (grated)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

For Air Fryer

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions
 

Prepare Marinade Without Egg:

  • Mix ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard and 2 garlic cloves (pressed) in a large bowl.
  • Add 2 pound of chicken tenders inside the mixture.
  • Let the chicken marinate for 1 hour.

Prepare Breading Mixture:

  • In order to make breading, mix 1 cup plain bread crumbs, 1 cup panko bread crumbs, ½ cup grated Parmesan, salt and pepper to taste in another bowl.
  • Then coat the chicken tenders in the breaded mixture.

Air Fry:

  • Place the breaded chicken on the air fry bottom tray.
  • Spray the bottom of tray and breaded chicken with olive oil.
  • Arrange chicken strips in a single layer on your bottom tray.
  • Set air fryer to 300°F.
  • Heat strip for 12-14 minutes.
  • And let stand 1-2 minutes before serving.

Notes

 You can also use homemade breadcrumbs made with whole-wheat bread. 
The air frying time will vary, it all depends upon your Air fryer and the size of your tenders.
Spray oil on the tenders when you flip so that the tenders are nice and crispy.
You can add different spices, depending upon your preference.
If you don’t want to prepare marinate without egg. You can use other ingredients for marination like egg, tomato paste, flour and water, and also milk.
You can increase or decrease the marination timing, according to your choice.
